My Best Friend's Wedding | What Was in Our Oh Sh*t Kits

brookewillett

Inevitably someone forgets something on the day of the wedding. Or, someone spills something. Or someone gets a headache. Someone might even need a band-aid.

Having helped my friend Hunter photograph weddings I've been there when people don't have the one safety pon they need, so I was certainly not about to let that happen at Sabrina's wedding.

I didn't go super overboard with these, but I made sure we had everything I could think of to make the day run smoothly. These are also really fun ways to make everything a little more personal if you want! I decided to go more practical but the options are endless!

Here's what I made sure to pack in the bride and groom Oh Sh*t Kits!

Groom

Shoe Polish

Boutineer Pins

Safety Pins

Advil

Cold Medicine

Tums

Cough Drops

Band-aids

Tide Stick

Q-tips

Cotton Rounds

Baby Wipes

Bride

Safety Pins

Bobby Pins

Buffing Blocks

Nail Files

Clear Nail Polish

Tide Stick

Advil

Cold Medicine

Tums

Cough Drops

Band-aids

Tide Stick

Surge Protector

Q-tips

Cotton Rounds

Makeup Sponges

Hairspray

Dry Shampoo

Makeup Remover Wipes

These by far weren't the most elaborate kits I could've made, but everyone was great about bringing extras so I didn't really need to prepare for people forgetting things.

One thing is for sure, I'm definitely glad I brought these because we used most, if not one of each item I brought - I know I personally used most of the band-aids and ended up with the Tide Stick in my hand for a large portion of the night!

While Sabrina was trying to write her vows, I was busy putting these kits together! Yes, this picture was after we both cried.
